Take a look around

Here at Brockholes we have used the expertise of The Lancashire Wildlife Trust to create habitats that will encourage lots of different species to visit the site, across the year.

Located just off the M6, Brockholes is the perfect location for a family day out, with over 250 acres of nature reserve to explore.

This is a dog free zone and we advise you to wear sturdy footwear while exploring the reserve as some areas are likely to be muddy.

We are in the process of updating our on-site walking trails and signage. Please take a look at our new walking trail map below, which aligns with the coloured path markers on site.

Help us keep our nature reserve special

We hope you love this reserve as much as we do. As a charity with no government funding, we simply wouldn't be able to look after wildlife refuges like Brockholes without your support. Please help us continue caring for the nature on your doorstep.
