Find your Nature Moments

The aim of these walks is to help you that will teach you about the reserve and thanks the seasonal variation we like to think that no two walks here at Brockholes are ever the same.

Led by some of our expert volunteers, who know the reserve as well as the back of their hand, these are a fantastic way to learn about the reserve as well as discovering just what Brockholes has to offer.

No booking is required for these walks, just meet at the Welcome Centre on the Visitor Village and enjoy!

Here is the current guided walk schedule:

Pram Walk

Every Thursday, 10:15 – 11:15am

A brisk one hour walk around the reserve, on pram friendly paths. The aim of this popular weekly event is to combine family time with socialising, and nature with healthy activity.

Midweek Meander

Every Wednesday, 11.15am-12.45pm

Every Wednesday you can clear those midweek blues with this fantastic guided walk around our reserve! Explore the reserve and hear all about recent wildlife sightings, our conservation work and our history.

Toddle Together

First Thursday of each month, 11am-12pm

This monthly one hour guided walk of the reserve is aimed at adults with young children. The walk is along paths and is suitable for buggies and pushchairs, and offers a great opportunity to introduce youngsters to Brockholes and wildlife in general.
