For the first time ever at Brockholes, we are bringing you the magic of a traditional Christmas for all the family. Our floating village will be transformed into a winter wonderland and you'll be handed a free hot drink to enjoy whilst you take in the Christmas light displays, live music and ambience. Santa will be on his sleigh, ready to say hello, and you can try your hand at our traditional fun fair games tin can alley and hook a duck. Live music will play as you explore the market stalls for unique, local gifts, or even get crafty during an eco craft session. And of course don’t miss the Christmas light switch on!
Join us for our fantastic Winter Fayre: it's the perfect way to kickstart your seasonal celebrations.
More Christmas events
Throughout December we have a selection of events for the whole family, from Santa's postbox to our popular Artisan Markets. Our Christmas events fill up very quickly, so please book early to avoid disappointment!
Santa's Post Box
Nothing says Christmas like writing a letter to Santa, but why not enjoy a Christmas adventure before posting it off to Lapland? Back by popular demand, you can bring your letter to Santa and embark on an adventure round our self-led trail, armed with your special pack. Then warm up afterwards with a delicious hot chocolate.
Santa by The Lake
Of course a trip to see Santa is a must, and we are thrilled to confirm that Santa will be back with us this year. Come and visit him in his magical grotto, with the beautiful back drop of Meadow Lake – a real life winter wonderland!
Christmas Artisan Markets
Our ever popular Artisan Markets will be running all throughout December on the weekends, so why not make Brockholes your Christmas shopping destination? Enjoy a wide range of carefully selected local goodies which will make the perfect gift for your loved ones. No need to book this event, just come along and enjoy!
Come to our woodlands for a Christmas campfire with marshmallow toasting, Christmas songs and natural festive crafts. We’ll have lots of fun with games and natural activities and plenty of things to take away to decorate your home.
Make sure you wrap up warm for the crisp winter days, and bring along your loudest singing voices for some jolly Christmas songs.
