Xplorer is the ideal outdoor activity to get the whole family outside in the fresh air together! There are certificates for those who complete the challenge, along with a delicious sweet treat at the end. Whilst undertaking this adventure you and your family will use your navigational skills to hunt down the hidden markers on one of our designated courses. Additionally, if your children are feeling that little bit more competitive they can also choose to time themselves against the clock. Furthermore, whilst taking part in this tremendously exciting activity you will hopefully get the chance to enjoy the wide expanse of Brockholes Nature Reserve, and everything it has to offer.

The wonderfully exciting Xplorer Challenge is returning to Brockholes Nature Reserve! Xplorer is a family friendly navigational challenge, which provides the perfect balance of physical activity and fun filled education.
Brockholes Nature Reserve is the perfect setting to undertake this fabulous challenge whatever the weather. With 250 acres of natural landscape to explore, from majestic grasslands to resplendent bodies of open water, there truly is something for everyone to enjoy. In the process of hunting for the various hidden markers, you will be presented with the opportunity to explore and discover every nook and cranny of the reserve, which you may have otherwise overlooked.

Moreover, it is worth noting that Brockholes does not merely provide an appealing landscape, it is filled with a variety of breathtaking wildlife which is just waiting to be discovered. Hopefully, upon undertaking this intrepid adventure you will find a whole host of wildlife, which is scattered across the reserve.
