December Photography Competition Results

Trevor Southward

Winter is well and truly upon us at Brockholes Nature Reserve, with the dramatic change in weather there is an abundance of seasonal wildlife out on the reserve. Our brilliant photographers have been busy at work entering our December photography competition.

This month’s theme was festive fun, and with a plethora of entries covering every corner of our two hundred and fifty-acre site. All of the marvellous entries, effectively conveyed the outstanding natural beauty of Brockholes during the winter months.

Our judge had an extremely difficult time choosing from the superb array of images. Commenting that all of the entries wonderfully captured the spirit of the brief, and truly demonstrated the natural splendour of Brockholes during the winter. However, after much deliberation Trevor Southward’s a Brockholes Christmas Angel was chosen as the winner of this month’s competition.
