30 Days Wild

1 - 30 June 2022

Stay wild

Thank you for taking part in the UK's biggest nature challenge!

We're thrilled that so many of you took part in 30 Days Wild this year, with a whopping 7,233 people signing up to enjoy a whole month of wildness! The challenge might be over, but we'll be back in June 2023 with even more ways for you to connect with nature every day in June.

30 Days Wild is The Wildlife Trusts' annual nature challenge where we ask everyone to do one 'wild' thing every day throughout June.

You might be having breakfast with the birds on Monday, feeling the grass between your toes on Tuesday and rewilding your garden on Wednesday. There’s no set structure, so you can take part in a way that suits you. It benefits your local wildlife and is scientifically proven to make you feel happier, healthier and more connected to nature.

I’m really looking forward to getting involved with 30 Days Wild this summer. I like it because it's open to everyone and we can all benefit by giving just an ounce of effort!

Smell the flowers

Simply smelling flowers can release chemicals that are good for our physical and mental health. Give it a try!

Go peat-free

Peatlands are important wildlife habitats and huge carbon stores. Choosing peat-free compost and plants can help save them from destruction.
