Visitor Village Volunteer Handy Person

Location:
We are looking for volunteers with a range general practical and DIY skills to help to to keep our floating Visitor Village looking its best and operating efficiently.

You will support the Duty Manager Team, carrying out a range of practical tasks on the Village to improve the experience for visitors.

Examples of tasks will include
Keeping on top of our planters - watering, weeding and dead heading
Putting up and taking down decorations - e.g. Christmas, Weddings and special events
Touching up paint work
Staining and treating benches, planters and woodwork
Putting up and taking down signage and posters
Jet washing and gritting
Carrying out small scale DIY tasks e.g. putting up shelves, hooks and brackets and building flat packs.

If this sounds like you, and you enjoy carrying out practical projects and are available for a morning or afternoon, any day Monday to Friday, get in touch!
