Volunteering at Brockholes

Over 150 volunteers have now been recruited, inducted and trained to begin volunteering at Brockholes, an enormous thank you to all who are helping it make such a big impact on our visitors!

However, we still need your help! There are a number of very important roles that we need volunteers to help out with, from helping in the Visitor Centre or offices to chatting to the public about the Nature Reserve and wildlife out on site. A lot of these are at weekends, where we are asking for a minimum of two weekend days a month.

Please have a look below at roles (you can click on the titles to download a full role description) which might suit you and click here to register, mentioning Brockholes and the role on the form.

Due to the overwhelming success of our Retail and Visitor Services team we are currently recruiting in these areas.

The Roles

Our volunteers are vital to the day to day running of Brockholes from conservation and land management, retail and visitor services, to events and conferencing.  Good  volunteer  support and management is essential for creating a happy and dynamic volunteering team.
