Natural play allows youngsters to get in touch with nature from an early age, whilst allowing for the development of creative and social skills.
Children can swing, climb, balance and bounce in the play area whilst you relax on one of our picnic benches. Best of all, the adventure playground is completely FREE!
Our play area includes:
- Our new Climbing Forest (more details below)
- A miniature gravel quarry for scooping, digging and transporting fun
- Bouncing flower
- Play hut
- Balance blocks
- Chain path
- Jackstraws see-saw
- Zip Wire
We have recently had a fantastic Climbing Forest installed as the newest addition to the play area.
The Climbing Forest is a low level climbing feature that is perfect for budding explorers. It is suitable and provides challenging stimulation for children of ages seven and above.
Consisting of ten hefty timbers and interconnecting beams, ropes and walkways, the Climbing Forest inspires children to embark on a real adventure. With such stunning surrounding landscape, it is only fitting that this piece of kit includes a lofty crow’s nest to admire the views.
Please note that while the use of the adventure play area is free, car parking charges do apply.
Our play area has kindly been funded by The Greenbank Trust and the Forestry Commission.
