BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND 

Scarecrow Festival
Sat 29, Sun 30 Apr & Mon 1 May, 11am-4pm, £3 per craft/£3.50 per trail sheet

The ‘May Day’ Bank Holiday weekend is marked with our annual scarecrow themed extravaganza! Head out onto the reserve and take part in our Scarecrow Trail – we’ll challenge you to see how many Scarecrows can you can you find and have your photograph taken with them all! There will also be drop-in children’s craft activities throughout each day.

Spring Evening Stroll (*)
Wed 3 May, 7-8.30pm, £5pp

Join us for an evening stroll around Brockholes. This is the perfect opportunity to de-stress and to see the reserve in all its springtime glory… as well as the wildlife that comes out when our visitors have left for the day!

Crafty Creative
Sat 6 & Sun 7 May, 10am-12pm & 1-4pm, small charge per craft

Crafty Creative are our regular drop-in craft sessions with a nature or environmental theme! Just drop-in between the advertised times – no booking is required.

Dawn Chorus Walk (*)
Sun 7 May, 5.30-8.30am, from £15.95pp (includes car parking)

A real annual highlight here at Brockholes, hearing the dawn chorus is a magical experience! So rise early and join us for this early morning tour, led by one of our bird song experts. The walk is followed by a full cooked breakfast in our lakeside restaurant.

Ribble Model Boat Club Regatta
Sun 21 May, 10am-4pm, FREE

Ribble Model Boat Club return to Brockholes for their 2017 annual Regatta! This is fantastic fun for all the family to come along and watch an impressive selection of boats in action as they set sail on Meadow Lake.

We have a whole host of fun family events planned to keep the children (and parents) entertained during the May Half Term, including a Pirate themed ‘Wild Families’ special and the return of the Brockness Monster Weekend!
